What is the Rich Results Test?

The Rich Results Test is an official tool from Google that allows users to preview how rich results will be shown in search results and edit code.

Users can check webpages to see if structured data for things like reviews, recipes or other rich results are implemented correctly.

When was the Rich Results Test Launched?

The Rich Results Test tool was released by Google in January 2019.

The Rich Results Test tool has now replaced the Structured Data Testing tool which was depreciated by Google in August 2020.
